
Dinny McGinley T.D. presents Niamh Mhic Giolla Chomhaill and Anna Marie Uí Chléire with the Gaelscoil Ultain awards at the Ulster Schools’ Drama Festival in Letterkenny recently.
Two plays from Gaelscoil Ultain will take part in this year’s All-Ireland Schools drama festival.
Rang 4,5,6 will present ‘Toystory, the musical’ and Naíonain Mhóra will present ‘Charlie agus an Mhonarcha Seacláide’.
Both plays were nominated from the local festival in the Garage Theatre and the Ulster Festival in the Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny.
The festival is organised annually by an Cumann Scoildrámaíochta and will be held in The Arts Centre, Mullingar during the week 25 April-3 May. 44 plays from the four provinces will take part this year. Gaelscoil Ultain will be on stage on Wednesday 25th April at 2pm and 2.30pm.
